I have founded SW Tutoring with the intention of improving educational standards and to help students excel academically. I love Mathematics and want to share my passion with aspiring, future, like-minded mathematicians. Having recently started studying Economics at UCL, I thoroughly relish the challenge of developing my mathematical and analytical skills further.

With over two years of teaching experience, I have developed the math skills of students from 11+ to GCSE, helping them achieve their academic goals. Similar, I developed the math skills of an 11+ student, helping them gain entry into the top academic schools in the country, such as King's College School Wimbledon and St Pauls School. I achieved 12 9s at GCSE, ranking in the top 300 students in the country, achieving 4 A*s at A Level.

Studying the International Baccalaureate program at King’s College School, as demanding as it may be, has allowed me to focus on my lifelong interest in STEM subjects while still benefitting from a varied and holistic education, broadening my worldview by studying subjects such as Ancient Greek and Economics in addition to Maths, Physics and Chemistry at a very high level. I am now undertaking Mechanical Engineering at Imperial College London.

As an aspiring engineer, I particularly love maths and physics since these academic disciplines let me better understand the impressive machines that have long caught my imagination. With two years of previous tutoring experience under my belt, I am delighted to be a part of the SW Tutoring team to reach more curious young minds and help them achieve their goals.

I recently finished studying Biology, Chemistry & Mathematics at A Level at King’s College School, now undertaking my Medicine degree at Imperial College London. My interest in Biology led me to undertake an internship at Queen Mary’s University and I worked in the Biomolecular engineering lab, assisting Post-Doctorate scientists with making HUVEC cultures.

My interest in Mathematics led me to take up tutoring in Maths, Biology and Chemistry, which I find thoroughly rewarding. I competed in the Cambridge Chemistry Challenge, achieving a Gold award. Outside of my academics, I enjoy playing the piano, having completed my dipARSM and speak fluent Mandarin.

Currently studying Arts and Sciences at UCL, I have developed a strong interest in the intersection of societies, science, and engineering. My academic journey so far has allowed me to explore these areas in depth, complementing my studies with practical experiences that have further fuelled my passion. My role as a McLaren 60 Scholar provided me with invaluable insight into the world of engineering and innovation, an experience that greatly expanded my understanding of applied science.

This summer, I had the opportunity to intern at the Institute of Education and the Nuffield Foundation, where I contributed to research on Afghan resettlement outcomes in England. These experiences have not only deepened my academic knowledge but have also reinforced my commitment to making a positive impact through my work. I’m eager to share my enthusiasm for these subjects with others and help them achieve their academic goals.
